Weekend Voice Retreat at The Field of Healing, Bythorn, Cambridgeshire

In Sept 2022,  27 of us (including two children) came together in the beautiful setting of The Field of Healing to sing for a whole weekend in the yurt, round the fire, in the stretch tent and in the local village church. Lindz and Luna supported with morning yoga and Sarah, our host at The Field of Healing provided the lovely food. Was a deep and expansive experience for all, as described in the testimonial below from Kate.

“I’ve just got back from Ravi’s Voice weekend at the Field of Healing and can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Having time to open up the voice, which is a musical instrument we all carry inside us, and to sing, for joy, through tears, to talk about and listen to others’ childhood recollections of using their voices, to understand this is a part of ourself that needs healing, and then to sing it out; this is a human right of passage;  a journey to rediscover one’s own heartsong.

Done in such a supportive environment, with people there for the very same thing makes it a shared journey. And that’s what makes it so special. We are not alone. We are finding ourselves again. I am truly grateful to everyone who was involved in making that weekend happen.

If you have the chance to attend a voicework event with Ravi, whether it be a cacao & kirtan evening, an overtone workshop or an immersion weekend, do not hesitate. You will not regret it, and it might just be the best thing you ever did”.
